Passion for student learning and industry relevance are hallmarks of my teaching approach, a philosophy that has been honed over more than 15 years of higher education teaching in Australia, China, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. During this time, I have successfully delivered undergraduate and postgraduate courses to Australian and international students across diverse subject areas within the business and management disciplines.

Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to teach 18 management and international business courses. In doing so, I have consistently displayed excellence in responding to diverse student needs and the complex demands associated with teaching 11 different courses between 2010 and 2012. I regularly draw upon my professional background to help bridge theory and practice so that business students have a greater context to their learning.

My ability to develop and teach engaging courses is evidenced by consistently achieving excellent results in the Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELT) surveys. My contribution to teaching has been recognised  through a 2011 ANU College of Business and Economics Award for Teaching Excellence, a 2013 AAUT Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, and an ANU Vice-Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence in 2017.
