CAP Academic Staff Member Elections to Academic Board

Report of the Returning Officer on the election of three members of Academic Board by Members of the CAP Academic Staff Members 2024

The 2024 election of three members of Academic Board by members of the academic staff of the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific was held in accordance with the Academic Board Protocol 2021. 

At the close of the initial nomination period three nominations were received. All candidates and their nominators were checked against the academic staff roll comprising of eligible CAP academic staff members who held their appointment on payday 14 March 2024 and were paid a salary on that day. All nominations were in order. 

The candidates were Associate Professor Cecilia Jacob, Professor Llewelyn Hughes and Associate Professor Sonia Palmieri

As the nominations did not exceed the number of positions to be filled, the following were declared appointed for a 2-year term commencing 2 May 2024: 

• Associate Professor Cecilia Jacob
• Professor Llewelyn Hughes
• Associate Professor Sonia Palmieri
