I have worked at the ANU for almost five years, in various HR roles across campus.  I am the substantive Deputy HR Manager in the College of Asia and the Pacific and I am currently the acting HR Manager in the College.  As a HR Professional I see first-hand the full lifecycle of both academic and professional employment at ANU and am familiar with many of the opportunities and challenges that face staff at the ANU.  I am enthusiastic about the University's commitment to research and academic excellence and would love to engage and contribute further in this space.  I would embrace the opportunity to actively give back to the ANU community if I were elected to participate on the ANU Academic Board.  I have considered the time and dedication that is required to undertake this position and weighed this against my current professional commitments and I am confident that I can give this role the attention that it requires.
