Zoe Bowman
As an NTEU-endorsed candidate, I am seeking your support in the upcoming election for the ANU Academic Board.
I had a long-standing personal connection to ANU before I became a staff member. I came from regional NSW to study history and law, lived on campus for a while and worked as a research assistant in the School of Art. About five years ago I returned to ANU as a professional staff member in Advancement, where I worked centrally and in CoS/CHM. I’m currently a relationship manager in the Research & Innovation Division, building internal and external partnerships to maximise funding for research and communicate our impact.
Professional staff make a huge contribution to ANU and deserve to be supported, respected, and valued. But many professional staff I talk to are exhausted, concerned about job security, and wondering what’s next. Our voices need to be heard every time an important decision about the future of our University is made, and I will be a strong voice to represent our interests. Together, we can shape a future for ANU that resonates with our collective aspirations.
