Join us for an exclusive conversation with ANU alumna Elizabeth Lee MLA (LLB '03, BAsSt '03), Leader of the Opposition of the ACT Legislative Assembly, to discuss Asian-Australian representation and cultural diversity leadership in Australian politics.

ideas and initiatives to provide a better pathway for Asian-Australians to run for public office
how to make Australian democracy more inclusive, accessible and representative
what can be done to remove stereotypes surrounding Asian-Australians as 'perpetually foreign' and 'too silent' to be more politically engaged
how to elevate Asian-Australian voices on public policy issues, and
what political parties and other civic movements can do to prioritise and push for better Asian-Australian participation to increase ethnic and culturally diverse representation and leadership in Australian politics.
