Alumnae panel: #WomenLead in Law
Join our all-female alumni panel as they discuss what it takes to not just forge a career in law, but to also be a leader in what was traditionally a male-dominated field. They will touch on their motivations, difficulties and triumphs, as well as examine the changes that need to be made for future generations to have better opportunities.
The 45-minute panel discussion will be followed by a 30-minute networking session where a light lunch will be provided. For those who can't join us in-person, you can tune in via Zoom to watch the event live.
On our panel:
- Elizabeth Carroll (BA (Hons) '96, LLB (Hons) '99, GDLP '99), Chief Legal Counsel at IP Australia and President of the ACT Law Society
- Melanie Poole (BA '11, LLB (Hons) '11), Director of See Your Change Consulting
- Heather Roberts (BA (AsianStudies) (Hons) '00, LLB (Hons) '00, GDLP '00, PhD '08), Associate Professor at ANU College of Law
