Earlier this year, Professor Schmidt announced his resignation of ANU in December 2023, after eight years in the role. In this time, we have enjoyed his leadership and vision as our Vice-Chancellor, pushing our University to strive for impact and excellence in the world. Professor Schmidt has worked to shape ANU into an institution that answers the big questions of the world, and it brings us great honour to invite you to attend this special evening to farewell Professor Schmidt in style.
