The Hon Julie Bishop, ANU Chancellor
The Hon Julie Bishop is the 13th Chancellor of ANU and the first female to hold the position. The Chancellor presides over the Council of the University and plays a key role in official functions at ANU, including at graduation ceremonies.
Naomi Flutter, ANU Pro-Chancellor
Naomi Flutter became Pro-Chancellor of the Australian National University in July 2017, having been a member of the Council of the University since July 2014. Naomi grew up in Canberra and completed honours degrees in economic history and law at ANU.
Flutter joined Wesfarmers as executive general manager of corporate affairs in August 2018, with responsibilities spanning communications, government, sustainability, Indigenous affairs, philanthropy and the arts. Prior to that, she worked for Deutsche Bank for 20 years in public sector mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and business management.
Alicia Lillington, Co-chair, ANU Women's Alumni Network
As a young, executive woman in the technology industry, Alicia Lillington (BIntR '13) is passionate about diversity in the workplace. She champions this cause through the Women's Alumni Network and in the community by mentoring (she has mentored over 300 people), delivering speeches and providing corporate training across high-profile organisations.
An ANU alum, Lillington's professional career began as a communications manager at The Commonwealth Club in 2014. She has since continued to work on a range of high-profile projects for the Department of Finance, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of Human Services, the Australian Bureau of Statistics and IP Australia.
