2023 McMichael Lecture and Award Announcement

Presented by ANU College of Health & Medicine

As the urgency to address the impact of climate change on human health rises, so too does the need to develop solutions.

In this lecture, Dr Zoe Leviston, 2022 McMichael Award recipient, will reflect on how participating in collective efforts to address environmental decline can change not just the physical environment, but our own emotional responses and wellbeing. In particular, she will discuss the role of how humans perceive each other as an important driver of this change.

Following the lecture, the 2023 McMichael Award recipient will be officially announced by Associate Professor Aparna Lal, Director of the McMichael Award Program.

RSVP by Tuesday 12 September 2023.

Guests are encouraged to head to the lobby, overlooking Lake Burley Griffin for morning tea after the lecture.
