Presenters:

Jiadi Yang (key student presenter):

Jiadi is a Master of Accounting student at the ANU College of Business and Economics (CBE) and is the ANU Tax Clinic Intern for Semester 1, 2024. She is our keynote speaker for this workshop and has conducted Tax for Beginners workshops, where she took high school students through fundamental tax knowledge and the tax return lodgement process. She conducts tax appointments, researching various tax cases with mentors to provide useful tax information to help with client queries.

Charlotte Zhang (Supervising Tax Professional):

Charlotte, a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), currently works as a business and tax advisor, and graduated from The Australian National University with a Master of Accounting. Charlotte has experience in management accounting, intricate tax compliances for complex business structures and groups, tax planning, and providing strategic CFO advisory services. Her experience spans both commercial and public-accounting sectors.

Penny Zhao (Supervising Tax Professional):

Penny is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and tax agent with a Masters in both professional accounting and financial management from The Australian National University. Penny has a passion for helping individuals and businesses navigate tax compliance. She currently works with a number of not-for-profit clients to ensure they can continue delivering on their missions for a range of people across Australia.
