Democracy Sausage live election special

Join the team from the popular ANU politics podcast 'Democracy Sausage' live as they sink their teeth into the 2022 federal election.

About this event

The barbecue's being fired up, the tongs are out and it's on!

But will the 2022 Australian federal election be more fizzle than sizzle?

Join the team at Democracy Sausage to find out, in this special live recording of the popular podcast that sinks its teeth into all things Australian politics.

You'll hear from host Mark Kenny, political scientist Marija Taflaga, and some very special guests as they cast their expert eyes over the first week of the election campaign and what we can expect as Australians get ready to head the polls on 21 May.

From slip-ups to sports rorts and photo ops to furphies - and hopefully even some policies - the panel will cover the big issues, topics and themes likely to shape this election.

You won't want to miss it! Registrations are essential.

This is first-ever live recording of Democracy Sausage and the podcast's 200th episode.

This recording is a joint production between Policy Forum, ANU Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU Australian Studies Institute and The Australian National University.

Refreshments served from 5.15pm, recording starts at 6.15pm.

Democracy Sausage with Mark Kenny is available on Acast, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
