Ending gender-based violence: if we’ve got the evidence, what do we do now?

DVCS and the Global Institute for Women's Leadership (GIWL) at ANU have partnered up to present this panel event as part of the UN's global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

Our expert panellists will unpack the question Ending gender-based violence: if we've got the evidence, what do we do now?

Violence against women and girls remains one of the most widespread and pervasive human rights violations worldwide affecting more than an estimated 1 in 3 women (source).

This panel aims to bring together a diverse range of voices to advocate for stronger protection mechanisms to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls. Bringing their expertise and experience into the discussion, the panellists will address meaningful government action and policy decisions from global to local levels.

Please join us on Thursday 8 December at 6.30pm for this important discussion.
