Gender and the future of education: Latin American perspectives
Providing quality education for all is recognised as a UN Sustainable Development Goal, and is fundamental to creating a peaceful and prosperous world. Former President of Ecuador, Rosalia Arteaga, has been a champion of education, especially for women and girls. Her keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion with leading experts on education policy in Australia and Latin America.
Professor Bruce Chapman has served as a key policy advisor for the HECS scheme, and has led the discussion of similar approaches in Latin America.
Dr Bernardo Pereira Nunes has led research on technology enhanced learning and the role of computers in education.
