How to write an opinion piece (and why that matters)

Jenna's writing workshop is ideal for ANU PhD students and early career researchers.

Dr Jenna Price, ANU Visiting Fellow and columnist at the Canberra Times and the Sydney Morning Herald gets inquiries every day from academics who want to write op-eds or comment pieces. This workshop will provide a quick ten-point guide on how to pitch and write an op-ed; and show why communicating with the general public on your research really matters.

You might even leave with a skeleton for an opinion piece!

Please bring your own laptop.

It is important to reserve a place as we are limiting numbers to achieve a better learning experience for participants.

Professor Ariadne Vromen, Sir John Bunting Chair of Public Administration, located at the Crawford School will host this activity.
