Lunchtime Concert – Early Music
Presented by ANU College of Arts & Social Sciences
Come along and listen to music written 200 to 300 years ago, played on the types of instruments for which it was written.
Have you ever wondered about how harpsichords and fortepianos sound different to modern pianos? Or whether older string instruments sounded - or were played - differently? Or what older flutes were made of? This is your chance to learn more about early music!
This informal concert during the school holidays will be a chance to not only listen to music, but to hear performers talk about their instruments and what makes them different.
