Seminar with Dr Helen Haugh: Asset based community entrepreneurship

Presented by ANU College of Health & Medicine

Join us for another ASCEND seminar, this time with guest speaker Dr Helen Haugh from the University of Cambridge.

Although never complete or absolute, asset ownership has significance because it determines who is responsible for an asset, how an asset is managed, and how and to whom the benefits of asset ownership are distributed. Drawing on property rights theory, specifically common property, Dr Helen Haugh, will use two examples from her recent research to comment on issues associated with community land ownership and sustainable business model development.
