State of the Nation After the Referendum

Brooke Prentis, Aboriginal Christian Leader, will speak on The State of the Nation After the Referendum - Towards an Australia built on Truth, Justice, Love and Hope. The lecture will discuss the Voice Referendum, Reconciliation beyond 2023, Aboriginal spirituality, Aboriginal justice and healing for all.

Brooke is a Wakka Wakka woman and an Aboriginal, Education, and Reconciliation Action Plan Consultant, as well as a theologian, writer, speaker, educator, justice advocate, and poet. This lecture is arranged by ANU Chaplaincy. It is part of the Care for Creation Listening Pilgrimage on Listening to First Nations and Celtic Voices organised by the Wellspring and Iona Communities.
