The Ralph Slatyer medal ceremony

You are cordially invited to join us for the 2023 ANU Ralph Slatyer Medal presentation and public lecture on Tuesday 9 May, from 5pm, in the RN Robertson building, ANU.

The medal is awarded annually to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to biological science in Australia, and will be awarded in 2023 to Professor Jennifer Martin, Honorary Professor, University of Queensland and Adjunct Professor, Griffith University.

Professor Martin is recognised internationally for her pioneering research in protein crystallography, a branch of structural biology that seeks to understand how biological machines operate. She studies disease-causing proteins in order to design new drugs to combat disease.
