The secret life of atoms

Presented by ANU College of Science

Beneath our everyday experience, the world is brought to life by fundamental forces bringing together atoms to create everything we see around us.

In this session, we will work with you to do some cool online activities to help you make your own atoms and molecules.

You will get to create your own fundamental particles, and see how tiny changes in these fundamental forces can change the world around you.

To do this, we will share with you some online resources during the session, and also using Snatoms created by Veritasium.

This session will be led by astronomer Dr Ryan Ridden Harper.

This session is possible thanks to the support of Inspiring The ACT.

Suitable ages: Do you like LEGO? or 6+
