Wear it Purple - online discussion

About this event

Wear it Purple strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people by asking people to don themselves in purple at workplaces, schools, and communities across Australia.

To mark Wear it Purple 2021 the ANU Ally Network has invited guest researchers, peer workers and community members for a special online discussion. The guests will share their insights about the contemporary needs and experiences of LGBTIQA+ young people and what meaningful allyship and inclusion looks like at ANU.

Panellists include:
Dr Adam Bourne, Associate Professor in Public Health and Deputy Director at the Australian Research Centre for Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University.

Alistair Ott, Wiradjuri Young Person and Engagement and Membership Coordinator at A Gender Agenda.
