Message from the Vice-Chancellor

Hello everyone,

Today we have launched our ANU by 2025 Strategic Plan. We have spent the past six months listening to, and learning from you - our extraordinary staff. This is your Plan to become the national university Australia needs in these tumultuous times.

Please read it, and I encourage all of you to speak to colleagues and our supervisors so you know where you and your team fit into delivering on your ambitions.

I will be scheduling town hall meetings in all seven colleges and with the central portfolios over the coming weeks so we can talk together about how we deliver ANU by 2025 as a community.

In the meantime, here are the links to the Plan and the one-page version that I ask you all to keep handy as your quick guide to who we are and where we’re going. You can also watch the livestream of the launch here.

As part of his address, our Vice-Chancellor announced that outstanding new students who would otherwise be unable to attend ANU will be offered financial and pastoral support as part of a new scholarship program.

In 1977, Joy London donated to ANU what is now known as the Kioloa Costal Campus, an ecologically diverse landscape and an integral part of our teaching and research program.
