COVID-19 will be part of our lives for a long time and complacency will be our undoing. Therefore, we still need guidelines and we still need everyone in our community to follow them to keep our community safe. |

Works on Clunies Ross Street Contractors will be undertaking ICON water main upgrades along Clunies Ross Street until late May. This will affect a portion of the shared footpath/cycleway. Please approach the area with caution, or use an alternate route. |

New translation brings bloody history out of the past In 1937, Dr Elena Govor's grandfather Artyom Vesyoly was arrested as part of Stalin's Great Purge. With the help of Emeritus Professor Kevin Windle, her grandfather's writing has now been translated into English, bringing the stories of the Russian Revolution and Civil War to a new audience. HR updates

Update on background checks Last month the University implemented background checks for new or existing staff who start new positions after 15 March 2021. The process will be streamlined in the coming months, but in the meantime, in most situations, we will be offering employment contracts with conditions until the background check is completed.
