John Shaw Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this fund is to support post-graduate research students pursuing studies or research in the astrophysics of the universe (excluding our solar system) using optical and radio astronomy though the creation of the John Shaw Scholarship, an annualy awarded PhD "top-up" scholarship for domestic students.

Funding for this award has been provided by the John Shaw Foundation. In establishing this award, the John Shaw Foundation hopes that any business or individual that develops patents or derives financial benefit from the work of a student funded by the John Shaw Scholarship considers making a donation towards the continued support and endowment of the scholarship.
