Confirm your enrolment, degree or study-load
You can download a letter confirming you are a current student, the degree you are studying, and whether you are studying on a full-time or part-time basis. Often these letters are requested by third parties such as Centrelink, embassies and employers.
Your confirmation letters can be accessed on ISIS via the pathway:

Letters
Enrolment Confirmation Letter
Enrolment Confirmation Letters are used to confirm the courses you are studying for the year. The letter confirms the following information:
- Courses in which you are enrolled for the year;
- The degree you are studying;
- The unit load for each of your courses;
- The total number of units in which you are enrolled for each semester/trimester/session; and
- Full-time/Part-time status.
Program Confirmation Letter
Program Confirmation Letters are used to confirm the degree you are undertaking. The letter confirms the following information:
- The degree you are studying;
- Undergraduate/postgraduate status;
- Date of your commencement;
- Duration of your degree;
- Internal/external attendance status;
- Language of study; and
- University dates.
Completion Letter
Completion Letters are used to confirm that you have completed the requirements to be awarded your degree program and are eligible to graduate. The letter confirms the following information:
- Your completion of the requirements to be awarded your degree program
- The degree program was conducted and examined in English
- Program commencement and completion dates
- That you will be eligible to graduate at the next graduation ceremony
Completion Letters are issued by your ANU Academic College after grade release in your final teaching session. Please note that your ANU Academic College cannot process your Completion Letter until the grades for your final semester have been released.
Your ANU Academic College may issue your Completion Letter to you by email automatically after grade release, or you may need to contact them to request a copy.
Custom Letters
If a third party has requested documentation to verify information about your ANU studies, please use the above confirmation letters or an Official Academic Document (see below) in the first instance.
If a standard document is not accepted, you then can request a letter confirming information not included in the standard letters above. These may include Fee Letters or requests to complete or stamp third party forms. Please email your request to Student Central at student@anu.edu.au from your ANU email account, and include any specific requests made by the third party.
Please note, we can only attest to information relating to your student record including program name and status, enrolment records, fee charges and payments (including HELP).

Official Academic Documents
ANU issues several types of official academic documents, which can be used to verify relevant information about an individuals studies at ANU. The below official academic documents are available as a certified physical or certified electronic document.
- Academic Transcript:
- Provides a detailed record of a student's full academic record including course enrolment, marks and grades and degree program(s).
- More information about the document and purchase instructions can be found on the Transcript webpage.
- Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS):
- Provides a record of the course enrolment and marks and grades for a degree program, information about the degree program and awarding institution.
- Only available to individuals who have graduated from ANU on or after December 2009.
- More information about the document and purchase instructions can be found on the AHEGS webpage.
- Testamur:
- The official certificate awarded at graduation verifying the qualification, featuring the University seal and signatures from the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor.
- Only available to individuals who have graduated from ANU.
