Alan McIntosh Prize for Second Year Mathematics

Each year the Mathematical Sciences Institute ('MSI') at the ANU College of Science may
offer one $1,000 for the award known as the Alan McIntosh Prize for second year mathematics.

Overview

The objective/s of the prize are to recognise outstanding academic achievement and to
encourage second-year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences to continue
on with their studies in Mathematics.

The value of the prize/s awarded is $1,000 per year.
The prize will be on offer in perpetuity.

Funding for this prize has been provided by the family of Alan McIntosh and matched by the Mathematical Sciences Institute, ANU.
