Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ACT Branch) Prize for Applied Geophysics

The objective of the prize is to recognise and reward a high-achieving undergraduate student who achieved the best result in the geophysics course Applied Geophysics EMSC3033 in that year.

The prize will be on offer from 2019 to 2021.

Funding for this prize has been provided by Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ACT Branch).

The Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG) is a non-profit company founded in 1970. Its aims are to promote the science of geophysics, and specifically exploration geophysics, throughout Australia; to foster fellowship and co-operation between geophysicists; to encourage closer understanding and co-operation with other earth scientists; and to assist in the design and teaching of courses in geophysics and to sponsor student sections where appropriate.
