Kate North Prize

Each year the School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics may offer a prize known as the Kate North Memorial Prize.

Overview

The objective of the prize is to recognise the student who has achieved the best result in the field of Russian, or if no Russian courses are offered, in the field of French.  

Funding for this prize has been provided by the Kate North Endowment. Kate North (d. 1992) worked for many years as Secretary in the Russian Department of Modern European Languages, ANU.
