First Generation Celebration and Networking Event
Come celebrate the end of 2024 with the First Generation network at ANU. There will be food, activities and plenty of opportunities to connect!
The First Generations Celebration will be an engaging event to celebrate the end of the academic year, highlighting the experiences of first-generation students and providing opportunities to connect and practice networking skills in a highly supportive environment.
All first-generation students, staff and alumni are invited to attend to celebrate all they have achieved so far, along with any students or staff who would like to join in the celebrations with their first-generation peers. So, consider bringing a friend!
What to expect:
- Hear from speakers and peers about the First Generation Student experience.
- Including our keynote speaker, Genevieve Bell, Vice-Chancellor and President.
- Engage in fun activities to develop your networking skills.
- Practice networking with peers and professionals from ANU and the alumni network.
- Enjoy a catered afternoon tea
Registration is essential to attend the event.
