Shirley Gregor AO Lecture: Digitalisation for A Better Tomorrow

Presented by ANU College of Business & Economics

About the Lecture

At this year’s Shirley Gregor AO public lecture, Suprateek (Supra) will discuss digitalisation and its impacts using the example of digital classrooms in schools. He will highlight the utopian and dystopian narratives on digitalisation and argue that both narratives are incomplete, polarising, and not particularly helpful.

Supra will assert that IS scholars may be in a unique position to offer a balanced perspective and positively influence digitalisation's role in organisations and society. He will conclude by offering some implications for research and practice.
