The Path of the Anaconda is the voyage of Wade Davis, the famous Canadian author of the book One River, who returns to Colombia in the company of anthropologist Martin von Hildebrand. They travel together with the indigenous communities of the Apaporis River through the Colombian Amazon jungle.
Wade heads out in this trip as an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of his mentor Richard Evans Schultes, and explore with Martin one of the remotest zones of the Amazon jungle. This place, they have fought to preserve for over 40 years, is at the centre of wide-ranging discussions today about the environmental future of the world.
