After the exam

In order to improve your performance in exams, it is important to reflect back after the exam period on how you went and how you can improve. Although you don't usually get to see your actual exam paper, you will have some idea of how well you might have done in the different sections. You'll have a sense of what you found challenging. This is your opportunity to think about how useful your notes were, your revision strategies and your exam plan. Use this reflection to modify or to improve on your strategies for your next exam period. Mid semester exams are often good for this reflective learning as you may have a chance to review the exam and even discuss it with the lecturer/tutor.

And don't forget to reward yourself for all your hard work!
