Indigenous Literacy Day

Join Us for Indigenous Literacy Day! The ANU Indigenous Staff Network invites you to our event on 4 September. Celebrate Indigenous stories, languages, and cultures with us!

 

Event Highlights:
- 10:00 AM: Book Swap – Bring any second-hand books, with a focus on children’s books!

- 10:30 AM: Film Screening – Explore unique Aboriginal communities and the significance of Country.

- 10:45 AM: Livestream: Direct from the Sydney Opera House with music, dance, art, and storytelling.

- 12:00 PM: BBQ, donations, ongoing book swap activities and networking

- 1:00 PM Event Close

 

Location: 45 Sullivans Creek Road, John Yencken Building, First Nations Portfolio.

 

BBQ & Donations: Enjoy a BBQ after the screenings. Gold coin donations are welcome, with proceeds to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Leftover books will be donated to Gugan Gulwan.
