Exploring the experiences of university for students from low-SES backgrounds

Please note this study is currently closed. A public report will be released in the near future.

Are you from a low-income/low-socioeconomic background and would like to share your experience at ANU to help us get a better understanding of the challenges you face and where you find support?

We are looking for current undergraduate domestic students who are in their second year or later and who identify as coming from a low-income/low-socioeconomic (low-SES) background to participate in an individual interview to share your experiences and feelings on your time with the University.

The findings of this study may have important implications for the programs we run to support low-SES students at ANU allowing us to improve our support and services.

This interview will be conducted via Zoom, preferably recorded to minimise misunderstanding what was said, and will take approximately an hour to complete. Low-SES students who participate in an interview will receive a $20 digital gift voucher as a thank you for their time.
