Academic Regalia

It is mandatory for graduands to wear academic dress to their Conferring of Awards ceremony. If you are not wearing appropriate regalia when you register on the day, you will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.

Preparing to graduate

 Congratulations on your upcoming graduation

If you have been 'approved' or 'conditionally approved' (pending your final results) to graduate in the upcoming graduation session, you will receive an invitation to confer your award via your ANU student email account.

Invitations for Semester 1 are sent in May/June, Semester 2 are sent in October/November.

Guest tickets for graduation

All graduands who indicate they are attending the Conferring of Awards ceremony will be offered up to two guest tickets. When responding to your graduand invitation, you will be asked to indicate how many guests you would like to attend the ceremony -  0, 1 or 2.

Examination conduct

Examinations are conducted in accordance with the Assessment Rule. The information below outlines what to expect during an examination, whether it be online or in-person.
